Just Tickets - Dover, Kent

Having worked with Just Tickets & Motoring with Lycian Events for the past couple of years following Lycian's acquisition of the company in 2022, I inherited the existing logo which as a designer is sometimes tricky to easily develop moving forwards.

As a new era begins for Just Tickets with a wider range of events on offer, a simplified logo and identity was required. It was important for the new style to appeal to the existing clients, through familiar colours and brand voice, but also attract a new, younger audience.

The motif is purposefully simple yet memorable. The punched sections at either end of the elements provide connotations of tickets, with the angles and negative space cut out suggesting movement pushing forwards, in a positive upwards motion. It also subliminally represents a heart to reflect the caring and conscientious nature of Just Tickets customer service.

The typeface used is Futura Extra Black Condensed and provides a contemporary and dependable feel, with the right-justified text allowing space for the motif to sit directly above the ‘I’ in Tickets.
