Collectors Cabin - Galleywood, Essex

Collectors Cabin is a place for people to come together to share their passions for all things collectable. Initially concentrating on an online outlet for Pokemon Trading Cards, the vision for owner George Rolfe is to eventually develop a physical space for people to come together to build a community of collectors spanning a wide variety of genres.

The typeface used for the Collectors Cabin word mark evokes a retro feel, appealing to collectors who are perhaps revisiting a genre from their childhood, as well as a younger audience with the quirky detailing of individual characters such as the ‘A’ and ‘R’.

The motif mimics the ‘C’s within the word mark, with arrows cut out in the negative space to represent both the trading of cards and coming together of like-minded collectors. Subtle line detailing to each ‘C’ depicts two cards, one placed on top of the other. This is all encapsulated within a cabin structure, with the log shaping connecting with the arrows.

As a collector of many retro items myself, I’m looking forward to seeing Collectors Cabin flourish in the near future.
